The story follows the end of the first term of the first fully elected HKCE as he is preparing
for his re-election campaign. There are several issues he is fighting and under pressure on:
-education reform, people ask why his kids are not in public school, but expensive inter-
national school.
- health care
He is shown to be a person of value but there wasn't much he could do.
He starts this speech in a rally, "This is your home, your island, what will you do for it? I hear
you that you want change. We need to change, I need your support, support me to change. Together, we can do
it! We need to change the society. How do we do that? Start with yourself, change the way you
think. Think about others, reach out to your neighbours, reach out to your community. Help
those who have less. Get in touch with your society. We can't do it alone, we need to do it
together. This is our home, let's make it better for our children and their children."
RTHK is still here. Class size is smaller. The HKCE is carrying out education reform and political
reform. He has body guards from the central government.
He talks to superman Lee. He carries out bold economic plan and West Kowloon Cultural District
project is finally getting started. He talks to both the business and the democratic sectors.
He greets his supporter from a car.
He deals with questioning from legislative councilors, especially from Long Hair.
The film shows some of the insides of politics, and what actually goes on.
