Late

Well, today I was late for the financial assistance appointment and felt really crappy about it. I booked the appointment a week ago when I first got to UTS last Wednesday. I didn't realize that I don't have early afternoon class on Wednesday. What a bummer. Well, I booked that appointment at 10am and then I realized it last night and called in if I could reschedule because Uncle Spencer also have some clothes I was suppose to hang and anyway, I called at around 8:30am and figured that I can't really reschedule since I would have to wait another week. So, I just had to go and I had like 15 minutes to get out of the door coz it takes like an hour to get to UTS. I ate my breakfast really quickly, did the dishes but then my bro was online so I chatted with him as I was dressing. I got out the door at 9:15 and knew I was late and had to walk fast. And I did.

But it's a bummer that when i got to the train station, the next train was 12 minutes away. What! Totally screwed everything up. I might as well reschedule but it was on the platform already.

I run to UTS from Central Station but Nick refused to see me so. Reschedule. Urr. The lady at the counter wasn't being helpful. She basically answered with an "I don't know" for very basic question. I felt like talking back because stuff just didn't make sense. She was being an semi-bitch, not there yet, but getting there. But it's not good to upset someone who is suppose to help you so, just suck it in, that's usually the good and right way to go. Anger and throwing a fit lead to something regrettable most of the time. That girl across from me is kind of cute.

So yeah, I just felt like shit.

So then I got this story in my head on the train...

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

The story is about this late 20s-mid 30s guy who is always late. he has been doing it since a kid and it got worst after high school without the governing of his parents. And as a result he has failed classes, lost jobs, lost girlfriends, got friends upset and people worried.

And in this time of economic hardship, he was fired and failed in his relationship and he decided to get his life together. He saw an ad in a magazine for a class that would cure people's tendency to be late. It's a 5 (10?) weeks $1000 class and being emotional and all, he signed up for it, paid the money the next day. He kind of regret it the moment he handed his money in. But now that he paid, he has to go to the course.

And he tries really hard to not be late for the next 7 days. But he fails again and again.

The course continues and they bring in a professor/expert who studies behavour science and who interviews and studies each person in the class. There are probably like 20 people in the class and the stories get into a few of them.

Hero, let's call him, Brook, gets back into his past and we get clues on why he is the way he is from the expert who explains it to him and then the teacher find the cure for him.

Haven't figure out the end, but I will get to it.
